Getting Around Perth

After travelling almost 6000 kilometres in "Tilly" since leaving Sydney we're finding our way around Perth without too much difficulty and enjoying an easier pace of life. It's Show Week in Perth but we decided not to attend. Yesterday we visited and spent quality time with our friend, Anne Ellery, who trained as a nurse with Pam at Fremantle Hospital 50 years ago. Today we caught up with another of Pam's cousins, Thelma Kirkman, who wrote a comprehensive history of Pam's side of the family. The weather today is beautiful and we're hoping it continues over the weekend, especially on Sunday when Gail has her 70th birthday and we also celebrate Gail and Bevan's Golden Wedding Anniversary along with their children and grandchildren.
