South Australia
We have now left NSW and have entered S.A. en route to Perth via the Nullabbor. After attending church on Sunday we proceeded via the Barrier Highway towards Adelaide and then turned off this road onto the road to Port Augusta. Last night we stayed at the Peterborough Caravan Park which has superb facilities. Tilly is a great workhorse and has not missed a beat. We've only seen one live kangaroo on our trip as it hopped across our path but we have seen many that have become "road kill". However we've seen a plague of feral goats almost every day as well as lots of wild emus and also one with chicks. In addition we have seen lizards and a goanna when we stopped for lunch yesterday. The weather has been ideal apart from the first day and today is another beautiful sunny day as we head west to Port Augusta and beyond.Thank you for your interest in following our trip.

Hi Dad. Looks like you have gotten the hang of posting now. Do you need any help with photo uploading? I'd love to see some pics.
ReplyDeleteYour wishes to see some pics have been granted, Wesley.
DeleteDad has asked me to let everyone following the blog know that they have been staying at places off the beaten track so unfortunately there has been no network coverage for his modem. They expect to arrive in Perth on Sunday night and so will be trying to upload some more posts and photos very soon.
ReplyDeleteHi Pam & Phil, Have read the first few days of your travels with much interest - and a little envy! - your Broken Hill visit brought back good memories. Glad 'Tillie' is behaving herself & that you are having such a wonderful time. Have a great time in WA. Safe travel. love & smiles, Hazel & Graham xo
ReplyDeleteHi Hazel & Grtaham, Pleased that you've found our initial blog experience of interest and sorry you're can't do it all again yourselves. Thanks for your positive messages.
DeleteLove,
Pam & Philip
